You may well have seen over time, we have a culture at Zabisco of sharing the great digital industry insight, analysis and comments coming from the team – across our blogs, Slideshare and editorial commentary.
Not only are the team pro-active in knowledge sharing, we are often approached by industry publications and commentators to offer editorial content based on the insights and skill set we are well known for. It was on this basis that we were approached by Computer Arts magazine to write a ‘how to guide’ on designing interactive infographics. You can now read our guide in the Design Manual section of the latest Computer Arts magazine, including a Q+A with agency Creative Services Director Marcus.

Check it out here! Ingenie, a car insurance company, wanted a simple infographic that explained their telematics system. The main aim was to effectively carry their branding through the design, creating interesting and descriptive iconography to portray the 4-step process of their telematic insurance system.

A while ago I was asked to produce an Infographic in any time i had spare between projects. We have been fairly busy recently so i have been doing this when i got the time and consequently it has been a long time coming. I finally finished my infographic on The Internet. I pulled in a few facts about the internet and thought about an interesting way of showing them in an image. The result is below. Some of the figures i found were pretty interesting. (more…)

Why do people like infographics? Why do we assume that by turning a set of data, figures – statistics that we wouldnt normally read – into a pretty looking illustration with colour, shapes and nice use of type we will suddenly understand all these numbers?
At Zabisco we love infographics, the endless possibilities to create visually engaging content is what we turn up for.
BUT, infographics arent great just because thats our opinion, because our skills match up to creating infographics. There is far more to it.
