An interesting interactive graph is presented on BBC news about Oscar films nominations. Specifically, the infographic shows the best picture nominees by genre and per decade.
Interactions allow users to find more information using the top carousel or the left hand list. At the same time mousing over the decade lines a list with nominees and winners is appeared.
It’s obvious that a nice and clear interactive graph can show a large amount of information in a pleasant way without overwhelming users. Once again it proves that infographics, and especially interactive infographics, can work very well and increase user experience.
