Essential Skills

  • Advanced skills and knowledge in on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Experience of setting up, managing and optimising PPC campaigns
  • Practical knowledge of how to best use online social networking media for marketing
  • Active experience of blogging and Twitter
  • Knowledge of using Google Analytics and making intelligent decisions from the data
  • Expertise in link and traffic building
  • High standard of copywriting/proofing
  • Keen to grow skill set through self learning and practical experience on live projects

Nice to haves

  • Any experience of XHTML/CSS development is a major advantage
  • Any experience of email marketing (especially anti-spam techniques)
  • Any experience of working with CMS platforms like Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla etc
  • Basic level of Photoshop skills (for image processing / optimising / slicing etc) - however, this is not a design role!
  • Interest and ability to be out at networking events and taking part in seminars

  • Obvious passion for SEO and Social Media Marketing
  • Outgoing and extroverted; we're looking for somebody who will make themselves heard!
  • Friendly, approachable and willing to help others in the team
  • Self motivated and focused
