Usability Lab

Most people we work with (clients and partners alike) agree that testing with real users is a great idea. However, it's also the area we hear one of the most common complaints over – it's too expensive.

Not anymore. We've put our money where our mouth is and created a cost effective usability lab where we can host delegate users and our clients simultaneously.

Thanks to our diverse network of contacts and our extensive experience of working with audience Personas, we have a unique ability to source relevant users quickly and put together a panel to test with. We then customised our daily workspace to include a flexible usability lab so we can use it on client projects at a fraction of the cost and fuss that anybody else can. In short, we took user engagement FIRST and then created the solution AFTER; which we believe is the way all things should be done.

The lab itself can be configured a number of ways, to create formal and informal room settings for users to have a play with designs, prototypes and features and help identify ways to improve them. There is a one-way mirror and numerous camera recording options so our experts (and clients) can observe the fascinating behaviour either in person or remotely. It’s kitted out with the industry leading software (Morae by Techsmith) and we have lots of experience in creating scripted test plans or open focus groups to tease out the feedback needed. Everything is facilitated by our experienced team and the results are provided as useful reports and recommendations, rather than boring documents you’ll fall asleep reading.
